Removing
Engage the handbrake, then often raise the vehicle and securely support it on stands under the drive axle. Remove the corresponding wheel.
Remove the brake disc as described in the previous section.
Using a screwdriver inserted through the holes in the hub flange, remove the three shield mounting screws.
Using special scissors, cut a section from the rear edge of the shield so that it can be pulled out, then remove (pic. 9.10).
Installation
If a new shield is being installed, cut out a section in the shield as you did during removal so that the shield can be installed. Remove burrs from cut edges, paint over them with anti-corrosion paint.
Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
