Removing
Engage the handbrake, then often raise the vehicle and securely support it on stands under the drive axle.
Remove the brake pads as outlined in the previous section.
Working under the hood, remove the brake fluid reservoir cap and secure a piece of polyethylene to the filler neck with rubber band or put the cap back on. This is necessary to reduce fluid leakage during subsequent operations.
Turn away a bolt of fastening of a hose of a brake liquid from the back party of a bracket and disconnect a hose. Remove two o-rings. Liquid leakage is possible, therefore it is necessary to block the ends of the hoses.
Remove the bracket body.
Repair
Use a brush to remove dirt from the bracket, being careful not to inhale the dust.
Use a screwdriver to carefully pry the dust seal off the end of the piston and remove the caliper body.
Install a thin stick (piece of stick) in front of the piston so that it does not fly out of the hole and be damaged, then apply air under slight pressure from the foot pump into the piston extrusion hole.
Carefully remove the piston.
Carefully pry the seal out of the recess using a plastic or wooden tool.
Visually inspect piston surfaces and bore for scratches or signs of metal-to-metal rubbing. If necessary, replace the entire bracket assembly.
If the piston and bore are in good condition, discard the old seals and install new ones.
Clean the piston and bore with brake fluid or denatured alcohol.
Start assembly by installing the dust seal.
Position the dust seal in the piston recess. Dip the piston in clean brake fluid and insert it into the cylinder. Check that the notches in the piston cutouts are vertical.
After the piston has partially entered the cylinder, insert the dust seal.
Insert the piston as far as possible into the hole, but not all the way.
Installation
If required, install clevis bracket and tighten bolts to specification.
Connect the brake fluid hose, while installing new sealing rings.
Install the brake pads as directed in previous section.
Remove the polyethylene from the neck of the brake fluid reservoir.
Install the road wheel and lower the vehicle to the ground.
