Replacing the remote control battery (Opel Vectra C)

If the remote control malfunctions/its range is reduced, the battery must be replaced immediately. Use a screwdriver or other suitable tool to press the lock (see illustration 8.2) and separate the key bit from the remote control. To remove the battery, open the service cover, remove the battery and install a replacement one in its place, observing the polarity. Close the service cover, replace the key bit and press it until it clicks.



Make sure that the remote control is functioning properly - if necessary, contact the service station specialists for help, you can always buy replacement batteries there. It is recommended to use CR 2032 batteries.
