Replacing the battery (Opel Insignia A)

To replace the battery, disconnect the negative terminal and then remove the components shown in the illustration in the order shown.

1. Battery fuse cover.
2. Positive battery cable.
3. Battery fuses assembly
4. Engine control unit holder plate (unhook the clamps and pull it up)
5. Battery retainer bolt (tightening torque 10 Nm).
6. Battery retainer bracket
7. Battery.
