Removal and installation the windshield wiper motor (Opel Vectra C)

1. Remove the windshield wiper arms (see Section 7).

2. Remove the fairing grille (see Chapter 11).

3. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery (see Chapter 5).

4. Remove 4 mounting bolts (see accompanying illustration), disconnect the electric motor wiring connector and remove the wiper drive assembly from the engine compartment

5. Use a marker to mark the installation position of the electric motor hinge on the assembly panel. Loosen the nut, unscrew the 2 bolts (see illustration 9.4) and remove the electric motor from the drive rods.

6. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Make sure that the electric motor drive is in the appropriate position, if necessary, connect the electric motor to the connector (connect the battery) and set the required position. In the extreme position of the windshield wipers, the drive rods should be parallel to each other. After completing the work, check the adjustment of the windshield wiper arms.
