Removal and installation the horn (Opel Vectra C)

1. The horn horns are installed in the engine compartment, one under each of the car's headlights.

2. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery (see Chapter 5).

3. Remove the corresponding front wheel arch protection (see Chapter 11), on diesel models, unscrew the crankcase guard mounting bolts and fold it down.

4. On models equipped with fog lights, it is necessary to remove the front bumper cover (see Chapter 11).

5. Unscrew the mounting bolt (see accompanying illustration) and remove the horn. Disconnect the horn wiring connector.



6. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Upon completion, check the proper functioning of the horn.
