Since there is no periodic oil change in the gearbox, there is no drain plug in the gearbox housing.
Draining the oil from the gearbox will be faster and more efficient if this operation is done after the engine has warmed up to operating temperature and after a test drive to warm up the gearbox.
1. Raise the front of the car and secure it on stands. Remove the engine mudguard.
2. Wipe the area near the differential cover and install the oil container.
3. Loosen the differential cover bolts evenly and gradually and drain the engine oil into a container.
4. After draining the oil, wipe the mating surfaces of the gearbox and differential cover, and install the differential cover with a new gasket and bolts.
5. Lower the vehicle and fill the gearbox with oil through the breather hole. Unscrew the breather located on top of the gear shift mechanism (photo on the left), and after oil filling (photo on the right) screw it into place.
