Drive shaft sealing ring
1. Raise the front of the vehicle and secure it on stands. Remove the relevant front wheel.
2. Drain the oil from the gearbox.
3. Remove the drive shaft.
4. Mark the installation depth of the O-ring, then use a screwdriver as a lever to remove the O-ring.
5. Clean the sealing ring seat thoroughly, then fill the lips of the new sealing ring with lubricant.
6. Install the new O-ring into place using the appropriate tubular mandrel.
7. Install the drive shaft.
8. Fill the gearbox with oil.
Input shaft seal ring
The transmission input shaft seal ring is an integral part of the clutch release cylinder. If the input shaft seal ring needs to be replaced, the clutch slave cylinder assembly must be replaced.
