Right o-ring
1. Remove the crankshaft pulley.
2. Drill two small holes into the o-ring at diametrically opposite ends of the o-ring.
3. Insert two self-tapping screws into the drilled holes in the O-ring and use pliers to pull the O-ring out past the screw heads.
4. Clean the o-ring seat.
5. Lubricate the lips of the new O-ring with clean engine oil and install it on the crankshaft.
6. Remove all traces of engine oil and install the crankshaft pulley.
Left crankshaft oil seal
1. Remove flywheel. Measure the installation depth of the O-ring in the socket.
2. Drill two small holes in the o-ring at diametrically opposite ends of the o-ring. Insert two self-tapping screws into the drilled holes in the O-ring and use pliers to pull the O-ring out past the screw heads.
3. Clean the o-ring seat.
4. Lubricate the lips of the new O-ring with clean engine oil and install it in place.
5. Remove all traces of engine oil and install flywheel.
