Examination
1. To improve access to the suspension of the power unit, raise the front of the car and fix it on stands.
2. Check the condition of the rubber suspension elements for cracks, aging and delamination.
3. Check the reliability of the engine mounts.
4. Moving the engine from side to side, check the play in the engine mounts. The play should be negligible even for new suspension elements.
Front suspension replacement
1. Unscrew bolts and remove draft of compensation of a torque from the right side of the engine.
2. Raise the front of the car and secure it on stands.
3. Place a jack under the engine and raise the engine over a block of wood until the entire weight of the engine is supported by the jack.
4. Unscrew the suspension nut to the front lower frame and the upper suspension nut to the power unit.
5. Raise the engine and remove the powertrain mount.
6. Check all suspension components for signs of wear and replace if necessary.
7. Install the suspension support in place and secure with bolts.
8. Lower the vehicle and install the torque compensation link.
Rear Suspension Replacement
1. Unscrew the bolts, remove the torque compensation rod from the right side of the engine.
2. Raise the front of the car and secure it on stands.
3. On manual transmission models, loosen the shift rod clamp bolt and remove the shift rod from the control rod.
4. On models with an automatic transmission, disconnect the gear selector cable from the transmission.
5. Place a jack under the engine and raise the engine over a block of wood until the entire weight of the engine is supported by the jack.
6. Unscrew the bolts securing the rear suspension of the power unit to the lower frame, and remove it from under the car.
7. Install the new powertrain rear suspension and bolt it to the lower frame.
8. Lower the engine and remove the jack from under the vehicle.
9. On manual transmission models, reconnect the shift rod and adjust the shift mechanism as necessary.
10. On automatic transmission models, connect the gear selection cable.
11. Lower the vehicle and install the torque compensation link.
