1. Check the condition of the rubber elements of the engine mounts for cracks, aging and delamination.
2. Check the reliability of the engine mounts.
3. Moving the engine from side to side, check the play in the engine mounts. The play should be negligible even with new suspension elements.
Right suspension
4. Remove the air cleaner cover and right air inlet.
5. Place a jack under the engine and raise the engine over a block of wood until the entire weight of the engine is supported by the jack.
6. Unscrew the nuts securing the support to the support bracket.
7. Raise the engine and unscrew the bottom support nut and remove the engine mount.
8. Check the suspension elements for wear or damage and replace if necessary.
9. Fasten the suspension of the power unit to the body and tighten the fastening nuts to the required torque.
10. Install the support bracket to the engine and tighten the mounting bolts to the required torque. Install the right suspension on the upper part of the support and tighten the fastening nut to the required torque.
Left suspension
11. Unscrew the nut securing the right suspension of the power unit.
12. Raise the front of the car and secure it on stands.
13. Place a jack under the engine and raise the engine over a block of wood until the entire weight of the engine is supported by the jack. Unscrew the nut (arrow), that secures the left suspension to the front lower frame.
14. Raise the engine, unscrew the bolts securing the left suspension to the gearbox and remove the suspension.
15. Check all suspension components for signs of wear and replace if necessary.
16. Install the left suspension and lightly tighten the mounting nut.
17. Screw in bolts of fastening of the left suspension bracket to a transmission.
18. Lower the engine and tighten the nut securing the left suspension to the lower frame.
19. Lower the car and tighten the left suspension mounting nuts to the required torque.
Rear suspension
20. Remove the right drive shaft.
21. Remove the front exhaust pipe.
22. Loosen the gearshift rod mounting bolts and disconnect the gearshift rod from the gearshift control rod.
23. Loosen the right suspension nut.
24. Place a jack under the engine and lift the weight of the engine over a block of wood until the entire weight of the engine is supported by the jack.
25. Remove the bolts securing the rear suspension to the lower frame. If necessary, unscrew the bolts and remove the rear suspension from under the vehicle.
26. Install the rear suspension and secure it to the power unit.
27. Attach the rear suspension to the lower frame by torque tightening the mounting bolts.
28. Screw in the right suspension mounting nut, tightening it to the required torque.
29. Connect the shift rod and adjust the shift mechanism.
30. Install the right drive shaft.
31. Install the front exhaust pipe.
