Warning: When installing the flywheel, new bolts must be used.
Removal
1. Remove the gearbox and clutch.
2. Secure the flywheel from turning by installing a locking pin on the flywheel ring gear. Apply alignment marks to the flywheel and crankshaft.
3. Unscrew the bolts and remove the flywheel.
Examination
Check the flywheel for wear on the clutch side and the condition of the ring gear teeth.

Installation
1. Clean the mating surfaces of the flywheel and crankshaft.
2. Install the flywheel in accordance with the previously made marks and screw in the new flywheel mounting bolts.
3. Secure the flywheel from turning and tighten the flywheel mounting bolts in several stages.
4. Install the clutch and gearbox.
