Fuel — general information (Opel Vectra B)

Gasoline engines use fuel with a minimum octane rating of 95. Fuel with an octane rating of 91 is permitted, since the engine management system automatically changes the ignition timing setting based on the knock sensor.

All models must use unleaded petrol as the exhaust system is fitted with a catalytic converter.
