Removal
1. Disconnect the speedometer drive cable from the transmission.
2. Disconnect the odometer wiring connector, if equipped.
3. Loosen the mounting plate bolt and remove the drive assembly (see illustration).
Installation
4. When installing, use a new O-ring and coat the grooves with molybdenum grease. Tighten the mounting plate bolt to the specified torque Specifications. Connect the speedometer drive cable and the electrical wiring (if applicable).
