Removal
1. The sensors are mounted on the top edge of the transmission housing. The sensors are similar and can be identified by the location of the wiring connectors. The input shaft speed sensor connector is located closer to the left end of the transmission.
2. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
3. Disconnect the sensor wiring.
4. Unscrew the sensor mounting screw and unscrew the sensor itself. Seal the opening to prevent fluid loss and dirt from getting into the unit.
Installation
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Replace the sensor O-ring seal and tighten the mounting screw with the tightening force specified Specifications.
