Input/Output Speed Sensors — Removal and Installation (Opel Astra F)

The speed sensors are located at the top of the crankcase. The input speed sensor is located closer to the left side of the transmission.

Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Disconnect the corresponding wire.

Loosen the sensor mounting screw and remove the sensor. Fluid leakage may occur, so close the hole to prevent contamination and fluid loss. Remove the sealing ring.



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, using a new sealing ring. Then check the fluid level and top it up if necessary.
