1. Remove the air filter or air block by referring to Chapter 3.
2. Check that the lever (see illustration) was in the idle position.
3. Loosen the lock nut, unscrew the damper until there is a gap of 0.05 mm between the arm and the tip of the damper. Then screw the shock down 2.5 full turns and tighten the locknut.
4. Install all previously removed components.
