Power Steering Fluid Level (Opel Vectra A)

Before you begin:

• Place the vehicle on a level surface.
• Set the front wheels straight ahead.
• The engine must be turned off.

Safety! The need for frequent refilling indicates a leak that must be identified and repaired immediately.

1. The fluid level is checked with a dipstick attached to the filler cap of the reservoir. The reservoir is located on the left side of the engine compartment behind the battery.

2. Clean the area around the reservoir. Remove the cap and wipe the dipstick with a clean rag. When the engine is cold, the fluid should reach the lower mark; when hot - the top mark.



3. When refilling, use the specified type of liquid, but do not overfill the reservoir. When the level is correct, replace the cap securely.
