Check the coolant level with the engine not running.

The fluid level when the engine is cold should be slightly above the "KALT" mark. During warming up, the fluid level increases.
With the engine warmed up, carefully remove the expansion tank cap.
Warning! To avoid getting burned, cover the lid with a cloth. It is recommended to open the lid when the liquid temperature is below 90°C.
First unscrew the cap one turn, releasing the pressure in the system. Then unscrew the cap completely and remove it.
When the engine is cold, only add cold fluid to prevent engine damage.
When adding fluid, even in warm weather, use only a mixture of antifreeze and clean water. Only coolant approved for use by Opel should be used.
Attention! Clean water can be added to the system (especially in summer). But it is necessary to remember about the deterioration of the properties of the coolant.
If the coolant level in the cooling system frequently drops below the "KALT" mark, the system should be checked for leaks.
Screw the expansion tank cap on until it stops.
