Checking the oil level in the rear main gear of the propeller shaft (Opel Insignia A)

1. Raise and secure the vehicle.

2. Make sure the vehicle is level.

3. Check the rear axle for oil leaks. Eliminate any faults found.

4. Clean the area around the filler plug (1).



5. Unscrew the filler plug (1).

6. Pour the working fluid of the specified type into the filling hole until it starts to flow out through it.

7. Tighten the filler plug to 25 Nm.
