Contents: Checking the oil level ⬇ Oil change ⬇
The oil level in the main gear must be checked as part of maintenance every 15,000 km. At the same time, the tightness of the gearbox housing and the absence of traces of oil in the area of the cardan shaft and axle shafts must be checked.
Attention! In case of a large loss of oil, determine the cause of the leak and eliminate the defect. Take the oil drained during repair or replacement to a special collection point. Change the oil at every third maintenance.
Checking the oil level
Unscrew the plug bolt on the right side of the gearbox.
The oil level should reach the bottom edge of the hole. If necessary, add oil, see the subsection "Oil change" below.
Oil change
Place a suitable container underneath to collect the oil.
Unscrew the drain plug from below and wait until the oil has drained completely.
Tighten the drain plug.
Through a hose inserted into the hole from the plug on the gearbox, fill with oil up to the lower edge of the hole.
