2. Slightly lower the differential clutch assembly to gain access to the cover. Be careful not to damage the rear wheel drive shafts.
3. Remove ten bolts (1) differential clutch cover.
Note. Tightening torque: 6 Nm.
Attention. The oil in the differential clutch is under very high pressure. To prevent personal injury, wait at least ten minutes before removing any parts of the differential clutch.
4. Remove differential clutch cover (2) with gasket (3).
Note. When installing, use a new gasket.
5. Remove the oil filter (6) and replace with a new one.
6. Assembly is carried out in the reverse order.
7. Fill fresh working fluid into the differential clutch.
Note.
- Filler plug tightening torque (4): 14 Nm.
- Replace seal (5) filler caps with new ones.
