It guarantees the following:
  • ultrasonic monitoring inside only for the front part of the cabin;
  • all-round protection for the entire interior;
  • all-round protection of the rear of the car and engine compartment;
  • preventing a car from starting with a fake ignition key;
  • activation of sound signals when attempts are made to interrupt the power supply to the alarm system siren.

Before turning on the anti-theft alarm system, make sure that the windows and doors are closed correctly and that there are no people, animals or objects in the vehicle whose movements could trigger the alarm. If necessary, the ultrasonic monitoring of the interior must be temporarily blocked, see "Deactivating the interior monitoring system".

Deactivating the cabin monitoring system (in case there are moving objects or animals left in the car).

Press and hold the lock button 1 on the remote control; the anti-theft alarm system siren will beep once to confirm deactivation. Even if you press the lock button 1 again, the interior monitoring system remains deactivated. Deactivation occurs automatically when the doors are unlocked.

Press and hold the lock button 1 on the remote control; the anti-theft alarm system siren will beep…

Turning on the anti-theft alarm system

The system is activated by pressing the button on the remote control to lock the doors.

(Material was taken from a resource: «OpelBook.ru»)

When switched on, the hazard warning light flashes twice. Once activated, any movement detected by the system causes the alarm siren to sound and the emergency light to flash for approximately 25 seconds. If movement is detected again, the system will sound the alarm again after approximately 5 seconds for 25 seconds; this is repeated if necessary for 13 minutes. After this time, the system becomes inactive until the next unlocking/locking.

If the hazard warning light does not flash when turned on, this means that one of the doors is not closed correctly. If this is not the case, you must immediately contact an authorized RENAULT service station.

Turning off the anti-theft alarm system

The system becomes inactive (including after operation), if the doors are unlocked using the remote control, the ignition is turned on. Switching off is confirmed by a brief activation of the emergency light (depending on the country of sale).

If the hazard warning lights do not flash when turned off, this means that the anti-theft device was activated while you were away.

Unlocking the doors with the key does not deactivate the anti-theft alarm system;this system can only be deactivated by using the remote control or by turning on the ignition.
