Standard seats



1. Using a piece of wire with a hook on the end, pull the spring clips off the headrest rods (see Figure 11.55).

2. Pull the head restraint up and away from the seat back firmly.

3. Before installing the headrest, install the clamp so that its shaped part faces the rear of the vehicle.

Sports seats



4. Press the headrest down as far as it will go.

5. With the help of an assistant pressing on the points shown in Figure 11.56 located on the seat back in order to release the springs, sharply lift the head restraint upwards, removing it.

6. Install the headrest into place by inserting its rods into the seat back. You need to feel how the retaining springs fit together and snap into place in the slots in the rods.
