Do not allow the engine to run if the wire clamps are loosely attached to the battery terminals.
Do not disconnect the wires from the battery terminals while the engine is running.
It is necessary to disconnect the battery from the on-board network when charging it in a car from an external current source.
Do not start the engine using an external current source with a voltage of more than 12 V.
Do not disconnect the controller electrical connector with the ignition on.
Before connecting the plug connectors, make sure that there are no damages and traces of oxidation on the contacts of the male and female parts, as well as that the connectors are connected securely. Make sure that the rubber pad seals and retaining spring are present. Replace damaged spring. Before carrying out work on the vehicle using electric welding, including spot welding, disconnect the controller connector. Remove the controller if the vehicle will be exposed to temperatures over 80°C (e.g. before placing a freshly painted car in the drying chamber).
Before checking the compression in the engine cylinders, disconnect the pads from the injection nozzles in order to prevent the supply of fuel to the cylinders.
On to check the wires and their connections with a test lamp.
Do not check «for a spark» the presence of voltage in the circuit. Do not insert the tester tips into the sockets of the connectors of the fuel injection system units. Measurements are allowed to be made on the supply wires, having previously removed the protective cover of the connector.
Before checking the voltage in the circuits, check the state of charge of the battery. Before checking connections for «mass» Disconnect the wires from the battery terminals.
Do not touch the terminals of the primary and secondary windings of the ignition coil, which is energized.
Before disconnecting the battery, it is necessary to read the fault code displayed by the system malfunction indicator lamp in the instrument cluster. To prevent failure of the controller, strictly observe the polarity of the power supply wires.
To avoid damage to the controller and the ignition coil, under no circumstances connect the ignition plug lead to the terminal «+» battery or with «weight». It is forbidden to disconnect and connect the controller connector with the ignition on. The controller connector can only be disconnected after 20 s.
