Turn off all consumers.
The carburetor choke should be fully open.
Remove the crankcase ventilation hose from the cylinder head cover and plug it.
Connect tachometer and CO tester. Start the engine.
Attention! During adjustment, the fan should not run.
Remove the protective seal of the adjusting screw, or screw in a self-tapping screw and use pliers to remove the screw together with the seal.
The idle speed must be set correctly.
Adjust CO content, value see No. 4.49.
Check the CO concentration again and adjust if necessary.
After adjustment, close the adjusting screw with a blue seal.
Attention! After adjusting the CO, insert the crankcase ventilation hose into place. If the CO content increases, this is not a consequence of adjustment, but of intensive operation of the engine in urban conditions. When driving fast in the countryside for 30 minutes, or changing the oil, the CO content returns to normal.
