Caution: Install a complete repair kit.
Disassembly
Remove dust caps with a screwdriver.
Pull the pistons, cuffs and springs out of the cylinder.
Clean all parts with brake fluid or alcohol only.
Wipe the inside of the cylinder with a non-dusty cloth. If there is a groove or rust, replace the cylinder.
Loosen the air bleed screw.
Installation
Replace dusters and cuffs.
Attention: Lubricate the cuffs and pistons for the brake cylinder before installing.
Insert left piston with boot.
Insert the left cuff on the right side in the correct position, see fig. A888.
Insert spring, right collar and right piston.
Install the right boot, see fig. A4103.
Screw in the air release screw.
Assemble brake.
Release air from the brake system.
