Mark the positions of the yoke and hinge housing. Rotate the pivot hub in the body and remove each ball. Place the balls in the order they were removed, for subsequent re-installation in their original positions.
Rotate the pivot cage so that the two rectangular slots align with the body, then remove the cage and cage.
Turn the cage in the separator so that one of the parts of the cage fits into one of the rectangular slots in the separator, rotate the cage and remove it.
Clean all hinge parts and check their condition. If there are signs of wear or corrosion, replace the joint.
Apply 45 grams to the pivot body, then install the cage with inner race into the pivot housing. Sequentially insert the balls into the cage, and check that the cage in the separator and the body are in their original position (according to previously made marks). Install a new retaining ring, then press the remaining half of the grease into the joint (45 grams).
