Mark the positions of the cage and the ball joint housing. Rotate the ball joint hub in the housing and remove each ball. Store the balls in the order they were removed for subsequent reinstallation in their original positions.

Rotate the joint separator so that the two rectangular slots align with the housing, then remove the separator and collar.

Clean all the hinge parts and check their condition. If there are signs of wear or corrosion, replace the hinge.

Apply 45 grams to the ball joint housing, then install the separator with the inner race into the ball joint housing. Sequentially insert the balls into the race, and check that the race in the separator and the housing are installed in the original position (according to previously made marks). Install a new retaining ring, then press the remaining half of the grease (45 grams) into the joint.
