Testing constant velocity joints (Opel Corsa C)

Turn the steering wheel to any side until it stops. The joints are firmly seated in plastic inserts of the steering arms filled with long-term grease. They are protected from moisture and dirt by plastic covers.



Metal chips, sand and moisture penetrating inside can lead to corrosion and destruction of the hinge.

Check the condition of the covers on the hinges. If cracks or damage are found, replace them.



Check the axial play in the joints.



Check the lateral play.
