Brake fluid should be changed every two years regardless of the mileage driven. It is advisable to replace in the spring. If the vehicle is driven frequently in mountainous terrain, the brake fluid must be changed more frequently.
Observe safety regulations when handling brake fluid.
1. Pump out the brake fluid from the reservoir, bringing it to a level of approximately 10 mm.
Do not empty the reservoir completely to prevent air from entering the brake system.
2. Fill the reservoir with fresh brake fluid up to the mark «MAX».
3. Put a hose on the bleed valve of the right rear wheel cylinder and substitute a suitable container to collect the brake fluid.
4. Ask the assistant to press a brake pedal several times. Without releasing the brake pedal, remove the bleed screw. Through the transparent hose, the movement of the brake fluid will be visible. Screw in the fitting when the pedal hits the floor and release the brake pedal. Repeat the described process for each bleeder valve as many times as necessary to ensure that there are no bubbles in the brake fluid.
Fresh brake fluid can be identified by its light color.

5. Screw in the bleed screw. Fill the reservoir with brake fluid.
6. Using the method described above, pump out the old brake fluid from other calipers or wheel cylinders in the following sequence: rear right - rear left - front right - front left.
7. Dispose of the old brake fluid in specially designated places.
