Astra Models
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery (see Chapter 5).
2. Open the door.
3. Using a plastic wedge, separate the front speaker cover (see accompanying illustration) after pressing the 3 latches, disconnect the speaker wiring connector from the inside and remove the cover.
4. Using the same technique, remove the door armrest trim and the interior door handle trim (see illustration 21.3). Be careful not to damage the pads!
5. Remove the mounting bolts (see accompanying illustration), using a plastic wedge, separate the upholstery from the door assembly by pressing 5 fasteners. Disconnect the electrical wiring connector from the back of the upholstery.
6. Disconnect the door lock rod and remove the trim.
7. When removing the rear door trim, there are several features - it is necessary to lower the rear door glass, remove the window lifter handle (with appropriate equipment) (see Section 22) and unscrew 4 mounting bolts: 2 bolts at the door armrest, one bolt each on the inner door handle and at the bottom of the trim.
8. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. If necessary, replace damaged fasteners with new ones.
Zafira Models
9. Lower the door glass.
10. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery (see Chapter 5).
11. Open the door. Remove the inner door handle cover using a plastic wedge.
12. Press the 5 clips of the lower door armrest trim with a plastic wedge (see accompanying illustration) and 6 upper trim clips and remove them.

13. Remove the speaker from the door trim (see Chapter 12).
14. Remove 5 mounting bolts (see accompanying illustration), then insert a plastic wedge under the door trim and detach it one by one, first from the sides and bottom, pressing down 6 fasteners, and then from the side of the upper edge of the window frame, pressing down 4 key holders.
15. Disconnect the electrical wiring connector from the back of the door trim, disconnect the door lock rod and remove the trim.
16. When removing the rear door trim, there are several features - remove the window lifter handle (with appropriate equipment) (see Section 22) and unscrew 2 mounting bolts on the door armrest and 1 bolt on the inner door handle. The rear door trim is secured with seven clips and four key holders.
17. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
