Removal and installation the door rearview mirror (Opel Astra H)

Astra Models

1. Remove the front speaker cover (see Section 21).

2. Disconnect the mirror wiring connector. Hold the mirror from the outside and remove the 3 mounting screws (see accompanying illustration) and remove it from the door.



3. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Zafira Models

4. Remove the door trim (see Section 21).

5. Remove the wiring harness holders from the door assembly. Carefully remove the insulating film from the front of the door.

6. Disconnect the electrical wiring connector, remove the rubber bushing, remove the 2 plugs and unscrew the lower mirror mounting bolt (see accompanying illustration).



7. Loosen the top mounting bolt (see illustration 26.6) and remove the door mirror upwards - make sure that the upper mounting bolt does not fall out.

8. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Replace the damaged insulating film.
