Removal and installation the rear door window lift handle (Opel Astra H)

1. To facilitate subsequent installation, mark the position of the window lift handle with tape when the window is closed.

2. Window lifter handle (with appropriate equipment) can be removed using a special device (see accompanying illustration) or screwdrivers.



3. Press the wire staple (see accompanying illustration) and remove the handle from the axle, then remove the plastic washer. If the wire clip was completely pushed out of the handle, tuck it back into the 8 slot.

4. To install the handle, place the plastic washer on the axle, then use gentle blows of the palm of your hand to push the handle on until the wire clip is secured on the axle of the handle.
