2. Using a plastic wedge, remove the hole plug on the rear end wall of the door, pull the outer handle away from the door and turn the lock bolt counterclockwise until it stops (see accompanying illustration) — the handle should be fixed in the pulled position.
3. Remove the lock cylinder with the housing from the door.
Note: There is no lock cylinder on the front passenger door or rear side doors.
4. The procedure for removing the handle from the door is shown in the accompanying illustration.
5. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. The locking bolt must be turned clockwise, while it is necessary to hold the outer door handle and the door lock housing in a pulled position from turning.
