2.0L Engines

Removal

1. Set the parking brake, jack up the front of the car and place it on stands. Remove the right front wheel and (with appropriate equipment) crankcase protection.

2. Remove the accessory drive belts (see Chapter Routine maintenance), - first mark the direction of rotation of the belt on the tape.

3. Turn the crankshaft by the pulley bolt until its installation mark is aligned with the pointer.



4. Loosen and remove the small bolts securing the pulley to the crankshaft gear and remove the pulley from the engine - if necessary, hold the shaft from turning by the gear mounting bolt.

Installation

1. Make sure that the gear mark is correctly aligned with the pointer on the oil pump housing. Carefully install the crankshaft pulley on the gear wheel, screw in the mounting bolts and tighten them to the required torque.



2. Install the accessory drive belts (see Chapter Routine maintenance), - make sure that the original direction of rotation is observed (see markings applied during removal).



3. Install the crankcase guard (tighten the fasteners to the required torque).

4. Lower the vehicle to the ground, then tighten the wheel fasteners to the required torque.
