Removal
Electric motor "Delphi"
1. Remove the glove box (see Chapter Body).
2. Remove the lower section of the instrument panel trim on the passenger side, then, if necessary, release the retainer and remove the heater duct.
3. Remove the lower protective panel from the front panel on the passenger side. Release the lock and remove the air duct from the heater housing side.

4. Temporarily turn on the ignition and select the closed air circulation mode (see User manual). Turn off the ignition, then disconnect the wiring and drive rod from the air circulation mode selector flap servomotor.

5. Remove the mounting screws.

6. Remove the servo motor.

New servomotors are factory set to closed loop.
7. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the heater fan drive motor.

8. Unscrew the three mounting bolts, release the clamps and remove the electric motor from the housing.

Electric motor "Behr"
1. Temporarily turn on the ignition and select the closed air circulation mode (see User manual). Turn off the ignition, then disconnect the wiring and drive rod from the circulation mode selector flap servomotor, unscrew the mounting screws and remove the servomotor.
New servomotors are factory set to closed loop.
2. Unscrew the five mounting bolts and release the lock. Remove the electric motor from the fan assembly housing, - note that sealant is placed in the housing groove, - thoroughly clean the groove.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
1. When installing the Behr motor, be sure to fill the receiving groove on the assembly housing with sealant. Make sure the servo motor main gear engages correctly with the damper main gear.
