Removal and installation the glove box (Opel Astra G)

1. Open the box and remove the three upper and three lower screws securing it to the instrument panel.

2. Release the drawer from the panel and disconnect the electrical wiring from the light of its illumination. On models equipped with a CD changer or navigation system, disconnect the antenna cable from the corresponding unit.

3. Remove the box and take it out of the passenger compartment.

4. If necessary, remove the lid from the box by removing the hinge pins.

5. If equipped, remove the CD changer or navigation system unit (see Chapter On-board electrical equipment).

6. Installation is done in reverse order. When installing a new drawer, transfer all removable components from the old one to it.
