Removal and installation the resistive assembly of the heater fan drive motor (Opel Astra G)

1. Remove the glove box (see Chapter Body).

2. Remove the lower section of the instrument panel trim on the passenger side, then, if necessary, release the retainer and remove the heater duct.

3. Remove the cover and extract the working element of the cabin filter - two types of covers are used, one of which provides a sealant for the cover fit. Alternatively, remove the heater fan drive motor (see Removal and installation the heater fan drive motor).

4. Carefully push the resistive assembly upwards, disconnect the wiring and remove the resistor from the housing.

Installation is carried out in the reverse order. On appropriately equipped models, do not forget to apply sealant to the cabin filter cover.
