Removal and installation the gas pedal (Opel Vectra C)

            0

1. Fuel supply to the engine cylinders is controlled by the ECM, which receives an electrical signal from the gas pedal position sensor installed on the pedal assembly. The pedal is removed together with the sensor. If the pedal assembly fails, it is not repaired in a regular workshop and is replaced completely.

2. The procedure for removing the gas pedal is not particularly difficult. If necessary, remove the lower decorative cover of the instrument panel under the steering column to gain access to the pedal assembly (see Chapter 11) and fold back the carpet covering of the passenger compartment floor.

4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
