Maintenance work
If the parking lot smells of gasoline, then somewhere in the fuel line or in some part of the fuel system there is a leak. When looking for leaks in the fuel system, you need to leave the car overnight in a dry, clean place.
- Are there stains under the bottom of the car?
- If not, then start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
- After switching off, check under the bottom again.
- If nothing is visible again, then check the entire length of all fuel lines and fuel system components, paying attention to the characteristic smell of gasoline.
