Maintenance work
If there is a smell of gasoline in the place where the car is parked, then there is a leak somewhere in the fuel line or in some unit of the fuel system. When searching for a leak in the fuel system, you need to park the car overnight in a dry, clean place.
- Are there any stains under the car?
- If they are not there, start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
- After turning it off, check underneath again.
- If you still can't see anything, then check all fuel lines and fuel system components along their entire length, paying attention to the characteristic smell of gasoline.
