The fuel level sensor rarely gives absolutely accurate information. A sensor that gives distorted information can be corrected by bending the float rocker arm.
This is the fuel leakage block described on page 68 with the following details:
1 - tube to the filter with activated carbon;
2 - fuel leakage blocking tank integrated into the filler neck;
3 - valve with leakage blocking;
4 - pipe to the fuel tank.
Removal the fuel level sensor
Preliminary work is described in the section "Removal the fuel pump" (later in this chapter).
Unlock and remove the fuel level sensor wire connector on the lock cover. Set the lock cover aside.
Press the pull hook of the fuel level sensor outward, and at the same time remove the sensor from the pump housing.
When installing, press the fuel level sensor into the pump body with an audible sound.
