Tip: If oil has penetrated into the cooling system after the cylinder head gasket has been damaged, the radiator needs to be flushed. To do this, pour 2 liters of radiator flush into the dismantled units (for example, solvetan) and shake vigorously. Dispose of the used product as special waste. Then flush the cooling system completely by repeatedly pouring hot water into it.
Symptoms similar to a damaged cylinder head gasket also occur as a result of small cracks in the cylinder head. If, after dismantling, despite the obvious defect, no damage to the gasket is found, then the engine repair company must test the cylinder head under pressure.
