Cruise control provides the ability to memorize and maintain any speed constant, from about 30 km / h to almost maximum.
Cruise control is controlled by the I, P, and O keys, which are located on the direction indicator switch lever.
Cruise control should not be engaged if it is impractical to drive at a constant speed (e.g. heavy traffic, lots of curves, slippery or muddy roads).
In the case of an automatic transmission, activating cruise control only makes sense in gear D.
Inclusion
Touch the I button: the instantaneous speed is stored and maintained. The accelerator pedal can be released.
Acceleration is possible by depressing the accelerator pedal. After releasing the accelerator pedal, the speed previously recorded in the memory is set.
Acceleration
With the cruise control switched on, press button I or touch it several times: Continuous or incremental increase in speed by 2 km/h without depressing the accelerator pedal.
After releasing the I key, the selected speed is stored and maintained.
Slowdown
With cruise control on, press the R key or touch it several times: continuous or step-by-step speed reduction.
After releasing the R key, the selected speed is stored and maintained.
Shutdown
Touch the O key: cruise control is turned off, the vehicle speed is slowly reduced. To continue driving, use the accelerator pedal as usual.
Cruise control is also switched off in the following cases:
- speed below 30 km/h;
- pressing the brake pedal;
- pressing the clutch pedal;
- automatic transmission control lever in position N.
Recalling a memorized speed:
Touch the R button at speeds above 30 km/h: the driving speed selected before switching off is set.
The memorized driving speed is deleted after the ignition is switched off.
