Removal
1. Remove the battery.
2. Remove the relay block from the hydraulic modulator.
3. Remove the cap from the brake fluid reservoir and, using a syringe, suck out all the fluid from the reservoir.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the top of the hydraulic modulator.
5. Clean dirt from the brake pipe connections to the master cylinder. Place a rag under the connections to collect any leaked brake fluid. Unscrew the nuts securing the brake pipes to the master cylinder.
6. Remove the three bolts and lift the hydraulic modulator and control unit up out of the engine compartment.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, but it is necessary to remove air from the brake system.
