Removal
1. Perform the procedure from Section 2A, please note the following differences.
2. After raising the vehicle, remove the lower engine skid plate.
3. Disconnect the fuel supply hoses from the fuel line.
4. Disconnect the coolant hoses from the cylinder block and head. Also disconnect the oil cooler couplings from the oil pump.
5. Unscrew the right drive shaft center bearing bracket from the rear of the cylinder block.
Installation
6. The engine installation procedure is similar to that described in Section 2A. The only exception is that the right-hand drive shaft center bearing bracket at the rear of the cylinder block must be replaced and the mounting bolts must be retightened.
7. Replace the lower protective plate.
