Ignition coil

  • Primary winding resistance (only models with two overhead camshafts) — 0.2-0.34 Ohm
  • Secondary winding resistance (only models with two overhead camshafts) — 72-82 Ohm

Distributor


  • Direction of rotation of the distributor runner - Counterclockwise (if you look from the lid side)
  • The firing order of the cylinders is 1-3-4-2 (cylinder #1 is located near the engine drive belt)
  • Distributor cam angle - Automatically controlled by electronic unit (not adjustable)




Ignition timing


  • 14 NV - 5° before TDC
  • 16 SV, X18 SZ, C16 NZ, C16 NZ2 and C18 NZ — 10° before TDC*
  • 18 SV and 2.0 litre models – 8-12° BTDC**

* The ignition timing is controlled electronically and no adjustment is possible.
