System type
Models without ABS:
- Models 1.4, 1.6 and 1.8 l - Hydraulic, with two diagonal circuits and a vacuum booster, pressure control valves are installed in the rear of the circuits. Front disc brakes, rear drum brakes. A hand brake operated by a cable is installed on the rear wheels.
- Models 2.0 l - Hydraulic, with two diagonal circuits and a vacuum booster, pressure control valves are installed in the rear of the circuits. Front and rear disc brakes. A hand brake operated by a cable is installed on the rear wheels.
- All models with anti-lock braking system (ABS) — Hydraulic, with two parallel circuits (front and rear) and a vacuum booster acting by means of a hydraulic modulator, pressure control valves are installed in the rear circuit. Front and rear disc brakes. Handbrake controlled by a cable, mounted on the rear wheels.
