Removal
1. Remove the radiator fan with viscous coupling.
2. Remove the air conditioning compressor drive belt.
3. Unscrew bolt 2, which secures the cooling pipe holder (see illustration).

4. Mark the direction of rotation of the accessory drive belt with an arrow and remove it by loosening the tension by turning the tensioner roller mounting bolt in the direction of the arrow (see illustration 12.3).
Installation
5. Install the accessory drive belt, maintaining its original direction of rotation (see illustration).

6. Install the coolant pipe holder to the power steering pump bracket. Tightening torque 24 Nm.
7. Install the air conditioning compressor drive belt and secure the radiator fan with viscous coupling.

8. Remove the mudguard (protection) of the engine.
9. Mark the direction of rotation of the V-belt by drawing an arrow on it with chalk.
10. Turn the belt tensioner roller 1 clockwise using a socket head and remove the belt (see illustration).

11. Place the belt, maintaining its original direction of rotation.

12. Remove the V-belt.
13. Remove fuse box 5 and battery (see illustration).

14. Disconnect the generator plug 2 and loosen the lower bolt 4 of its fastening (see illustration 12.13).
15. Unscrew the upper bolt 3 of the generator mount and move the generator to the side (see illustration 12.13).
16. Unscrew nut 3 of the V-belt tensioner and release stopper 2 (see illustration).

17. Unscrew the bolts 1 securing the tensioner and remove it (see illustration 12.16).
Installation
18. Secure the tensioner to its mounting location on the timing drive housing. Do not perform final tightening of its bolts.
19. Secure the locking lever with a new nut to a tightening torque of 9.9 Nm and perform the final tightening of the tensioner mounting bolts. Tightening torque 14.8 Nm.
20. Install the generator, tightening its mounting bolts with a force of 47 Nm.
21. Connect the generator plug, install the battery and fuse box.
22. Place the belt.
