The impact on the front wheels is taken by two shock absorber struts, which are connected to the body and transverse levers. In case of repair, the shock absorber strut can be replaced entirely. An additional stabilizer prevents the body from tilting when turning and ensures good grip of the front wheels with the road. The driving force is transmitted through two drive shafts to the front wheels. The front suspension of the OPEL KADETT is maintenance-free.
