Checking the tightness of the cooling system (Opel Corsa C)

Examination

Open the hood.

Note: Before the inspection procedure, warm up the engine to operating temperature (oil temperature – 80°C).

Check the coolant level and adjust if necessary.

Install the KM 471 adapter and radiator test equipment on the expansion tank (follow the manufacturer's instructions).



Create a pressure in the cooling system of approximately 100 kPa (1 bar).

Remove the test equipment and close the expansion tank.

Close the hood.
